‘Little Boots - New In Town’
Victoria Hesketh known professionally as Little Boots, is an English electropop musician. She sings, plays synthesizers, Japanese electronic instrument the Tenori-on, piano and the stylophone. Her debut album ‘Hands’ is out on June 6th. The album is being produced by Greg Kurstin who also produced her EP with Joe Goddard of Hot Chip. Today’s SOTD ‘New In Town’ is her latest single out in May.

Jesse McCartney is an American singer-songwriter and actor. McCartney rose to fame in the early 2000s as member of the boy band Dream Street. He subsequently branched out into a solo career, having appeared in the television series Summerland. The re-release of his third solo album “Departure” called “Departure: Recharged” will have 4 new tracks. “Body Language”, “Oxygen”, “Crash & Burn”, and “In My Veins”.

‘Björk - Náttúra (Switch Remix)’
‘Náttúra’ is a song written and recorded by Icelandic singer Björk. The track was released as a single promoting the protection of the Icelandic environment and it’s Björk’s first solo single to be released entirely in Icelandic. Pitchfork Media has reported that Radiohead’s Thom Yorke contributed to the vocals. Today’s SOTD is the Switch Remix of the song.

‘Kish Mauve - Come On’
Kish Mauve are an electronica group formed in London. In 2007, the group wrote and produced Kylie Minogue’s cover version of their song ‘2 Hearts’. In-turn Kylie then gave them an unused track from her album ‘X’ called ‘Loose Control’. Which Kylie’s demo was amazing and should have been on her album. Kish Mauve’s version isn’t bad but Kylie’s version mastered would have killed!!! Today’s SOTD is their new single ‘Come On’.
